For our client we are looking for a Service Desk Specialist (Operation) with Eiffel experience

Requirements:
– Knowledge and experience in Linux/Unix Administration
– Supporting IT systems in large scale
– Fluent in English both written and spoken
– Good communication skills both within the team and with customers
– Good troubleshooting skills
– Service minded

Tools you will support:
– Experience in Eiffel
– Jenkins (with Eiffel plugin)
– MessageBus (RabbitMQ)
– ARM/Nexus (Sonatype)
– Event Repository/MongoDB (inhouse)
– RemRem (java/inhouse)
– Visualization Engine (java/inhouse)

Tools used:
– Git
– Puppet
– OP5/Check_mk (Nagios)
– Jira
– Confluence

Responsibilities:
– Handling all parts of the IPCC-model
o Incident Management
o Problem Management
o Change Management
o Release Management
o Configuration Management
– Order handling
– Alarm monitoring
– Installation and configuration of new servers
– “Follow the Sun” and OnCall duty.

Key Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT or equivalent
Min years of experience: 1 years within IT Support
Basic knowledge of software development in Continuous Integration Systems
ITIL-Certification
Experience working with some of these technologies: Jenkins, Rabbit MQ, Java, Nexus, Mongo DB
