Assignment description
- Owner of SAP Solution Manager application ensuring processes and procedures are aligned to best practice.
- Ensure ways of working with SAP Solution manager processes and procedures.
- Responsible for the system operations, e.g. availability and performance of SAP Solution manager.
- Responsible for the Solution manager application life cycle maintenance activities and application strategy and roadmap.
- Provide guidance, prepare training material and perform end-user training for Solution manager processes
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Application Life Cycle Management functionalities of SAP Solution Manager like system monitoring, ChaRM and follow up of process adherence.
- Responsible for overall SAP Solution Manager ALM strategy roadmap.
- Review new requirements and identify gaps in the functionality of the Solution Manager application, which requires certain development experiance
- Ensure transportation of system changes through-out the development process and work closely with SAP Functional Application leads, SAP Release and Change manager and technical developers.
- Consulted on enhancements to SAP landscape with correct use of SAP Solman.
- Collaborate with other Functional Application Leaders, Business Process Owners and SME, Solution & Security Architects, Release Manager and key users.
- Close collaboration with sourcing partners i.e. SAP and AM/AD.
- Participate in Change and Release management process.
- Provide technical and functional expertise support in regards of SAP Solution Manager.
- Prepare training material and perform end-user training for Solution manager processes.
- Ensure and maintain Solution manager documentation.
Knowledge:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of SAP Solution Manager.
- Exposure to IT project life cycle methodologies using SAP Solution Manager.
- ITIL foundation certified or knowledgeable in ITIL processes.
