For our client we are looking for a Infrastructure technician
Job description:
We are looking for a Infrastructure technician to work with server/cluster management, with focus on ELK. The daily work will consist of routine maintenance of ELK and looking into any production problems related to ELK performance or collection of logs. There is also work to do regarding upgrades of ELK and following up on any support cases submitted to the supplier. Our customer works in Agile Safe release trains. The team you will be joining is also working with other monitoring solutions, internal knowledge transfer will be ongoing to permit the team members to cover for each other in the different parts.
The position does not include regular on-call responsibilities but sometimes production deploys or system changes/maintenance will need to be performed during odd hours. The person we are looking for ideally has a couple of years of relevant work experience from the area of operations.
Hard skills required are:
• Good to excellent knowledge of Linux
• Working knowledge of Python
Desired skills are:
• Experience from server/cluster management Experience from AWS cloud components
• Experience from one or several of Elastic/Logstash/Kibana
