Examples of work tasks
- Develop functional hard surface treatments on steels for wear in different cutting technology applications
- Material/coating characterization, analyze results, propose and initiate development activities
- Be the contact person towards external collaboration partners
Required skills or techniques (must have)
- Master of Science or Ph.D. in a field related to materials science, surface treatments and metals
- Theoretical knowledge and practical experience from surface treatments, metals and material chemistry.
- 5+ years of working experience in the field of materials science and surface treatments
- Experience from characterization methods as OM, SEM & hardness measurement equipment.
Preferred skills or techniques (good to have)
- Experience from characterization methods as XRD, EDS & EBSD.
- Project lead experience
