Description
For our client we are looking for a System Engineer (railway)
Role description:
Be part of an on Site TCMS team complementing the TCMS team in Turgi with implementation (detail design, coding & testing) of vehicle software releases.
Main deliverables & responsibilities:
-Identify issues on train, analyze, find solutions and implement new software on train.
-Coordinate with system engineering, vehicle engineering and TCMS team for implementation of design changes.
Skills & Requirements:
-Several years of professional experience of industrial or vehicle automation and at least basic railway vehicle knowledge.
-Basic knowledge in reading and understanding electrical and pneumatic circuit diagrams.
-Fluent in IEC61131 programming language
-Experience in Rolling stock needed: Yes
-Language requirements: English is an Absolute requirement, Swedish is a merit and German is not an requirement but a huge personal advantage.
-Location: Västerås
-Need for willingness to travel: Yes
Requirements:
• Experience of Mechanical or Electrical fault finding
• Experience of Mechanical or Electrical repairs
• Troubleshooting and evidence gathering.
• Railway experience is needed.
• English speaking
• Avaliable to work evenings
