For our client we are looking for an Application Support – JIRA

Job description: Handle service tickets, workflow configuration, basic scripting, end user coaching/training

Skill Set:
– At least 3 years experience within Application Support.

Hands on experience in working with Atlassian applications (primarily Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) with a firm grasp of the following Application and System administration functions:
– Create an entire JIRA Project scheme set from concept to functional operation
– Advanced JIRA workflow design and implementation
– Ability to add JIRA Workflow conditions, validators and post-functions
– Ability to create Custom macros & good understanding on Confluence Macros & plugins.
– Strong knowledge on GIT Commands & SSH concepts which are essential for supporting Bitbucket.
– Knowledge on Webserver(Apache/httpd) & SSL Concepts & Configurations.
– Manage users and groups within the Atlassian applications above.
– Experience maintaining application health from within the program UI (manage mail queues, monitor heap memory, perform add-on updates)
– Ability to assist in or perform upgrades to core applications such as (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
– Alter appropriate server configuration files for additional application functionality
– Troubleshoot error logs within the application server to resolve application issues or downtime
– Perform server maintenance tasks for overall application health

Bonus Skills:
– Write Groovy and Java-script within the ScriptRunner add-on to increase process functionality
– Jira or Confluence certified administrator.
– Database(P-SQL) knowledge with query writing skill
– Jira plug-in development knowledge
– Knowledge of other Atlassian applications such as Crowd, Fisheye, Crucible or Hip Chat a plus
– Good communication skills
– Quick learner
